Napoli have reportedly opened talks with Aston Villa to try and bring in Leander Denconcker on loan until the end of the season. Dendoncker, whose contract runs until 2026, has made just one Premier League start this season but has racked up 15 appearances overall. Napoli are ninth in Serie, albeit only three points off the top four, and are lookig to get their season back on track. Villa are plentifully stocked at the heart of midfield, with Douglaz Luiz, John McGinn, Youri Tielemans, and Nicolo Zaniolo ahead of Dendoncker in the pecking order.
