Caernarfon bow out of Europa after Legia Warsaw defeat

Caernarfon’s European adventure came to an end as Legia Warsaw scored five second half goals to advance in the Europa Conference League. Legia were leading 6-0 from the first leg and after a goalless first half the Polish side added a further five goals in the second half sealed an 11-0 win on aggregate. Visiting fans were banned from buying tickets for the game at Bangor’s Nantporth after the club was sanctioned by Uefa for trouble at last season’s match away to Aston Villa.
