Aston Villa will be hoping to make it two wins on the bounce as they play their third game in seven days when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor tomorrow evening.
Fitness levels will once again be a question mark for Dean Smith’s men. The win against Newcastle was comfortable and Villa never looked to have got out of second gear or was it fitness playing a part? Tomorrow nights fixture will show as Sean Dyche’s men will bill very fit and well drilled. It won’t be an easy game for Villa.
Despite a slow start for Burnley, they have picked up their performances and results of late which included an impressive 0-1 win over Liverpool, ending the Champions impressive home record.
Burnley have picked up ten points at Turf Moor with a further nine on the road. Villa have lost their previous two on the road to the two Manchester clubs but have still picked up a very respectable 16 points on the road from a possible 27.
TEAM NEWS
Smith will have to make a decision on Marvelous Nakamba and John McGinn. McGinn missed out on the victory over Newcastle through suspension but Nakamba impressed in that game.
Kortney Hause will be assessed following a foot injury while Wesley continues to build up his fitness after being injured in the same fixture last season.
Burnley have virtually a full squad to pick from with a couple of concerns. Both Charlie Taylor and Robbie Brady will have late fitness tests after picking up knocks.

PREDICTION
I am not silly, I know that Burnley will be very hard to beat. Dyche sets them up to avoid defeat first and win second.
I never really had an opinion on Burnley. In fact, I always looked out to see how the did with former Villans Ashley Westwood and Matty Lowton playing for them and then Dyche popped up today. He couldn’t help but jump on the bandwagon that Villa stayed up because of a ‘hawkeye’ error. No mention of all the stuff that has gone against us including when his captain Ben Mee ruled Wesley out for what has been over twelve months now.
In the words of Kevin Keegan, I would love it if we were to beat them!
